Mohammad Al Faraj is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans filmmaking, installation, sculpture, writing and photography. Al Faraj’s practice is anchored to stories of the past, mysteries of the future, people, and place and currently works in his hometown, the oasis of Al Hassa, KSA. Al Faraj draws inspiration from the non-negotiable dependence of people upon nature, frequently incorporating natural and artificial materials in his artworks.
Though serious in theme, Al Faraj’s practice is balanced with a poetic vision and an undercurrent of hope.
