Hayat Osamah (1992, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) is a Saudi Arabian, Riyadh-based artist, photographer and director, known primarily for her work documenting and creating thought-provoking pieces about her homeland. Osamah’s vision focuses on diversity as a subject, using the medium of film photography as her primary method of documentation, thanks to the raw perspective it offers.
Her latest work Badeel is a short creative essay, shot in AlUla, which tells the story of a futuristic space.

Osamah was selected as the 2020 GQ Middle East Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and was chosen by the Saudi Ministry of Culture as one of the speakers for the first fashion platform in Saudi Arabia, Fashion Futures 2019. She has worked with major international publications including Vogue, Vogue Arabia and GQ Middle East, as well as on the first Farfetch Middle East Campaign. She has also been featured in WWD, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, and Grazia Middle East.
