A Disparate Familiar
Huda Beydoun (1988, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) started her career as a visual artist in 2010, painting and working with mixed media and photography. After honing her craft and gaining both local and international recognition for her artwork, Beydoun moved to Paris in 2017 to continue her creative journey by studying fashion photography under the creative direction of Paolo Roversi and Dominique Issermann.
She currently works as a freelance art director and fashion photographer based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She has exhibited in various international art exhibitions, including Dismaland by Banksy at Edge of Arabia in 2013, in Rhizoma (Generation in Waiting) at the 2013 Venice Biennale, and in Edition #1 at the Edge of Arabia Battersea space, in London. Beydoun has also displayed her work in several local exhibitions, including at the Ayyam Gallery in Dubai, United Arab of Emirates and the Athr Galleries and Hafez Gallery in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
